Hello fellow growers,

I m going to switch my hawaian skunk to 12/12 in friday because i m trying to keep it as low as possible.. This plant is Fimed and has 4 tops growing, it vegged under 150 +250 watt MH .. I was wondering if i should change to my 250watt hps from friday or keep my metal halide for a couple of weeks until i figure out the sex of the plant .. It sounds reassonable since the only reasson HPS is used during flowering is to provide less usable light spectrum so the plant develops more trichomes to amplify the light..

So I think of keeping both MH's up for a couple of weeks into flowering to promote rapid growth and when budsites start to develop switch to HPS for trich production.

I hope it's a female after all

I think that will definitely help you prevent the plant from stretching. I've been thinking of doing the same thing!

Since i can control everything in my growroom i place every seedling first there and then move it outside in my garden..

No answer to my question yet,, anyone thinks that having MH in the first 2 weeks of flowering will hurt my overall harvest weight , potency ?
