This is my first grow. I'm about 2 months in and I have 4 'mothers' of undetermined sex.
Well I took 20 cuttings off the plants, they're rooting and will be flowered soon. (CFL + LED flowering chamber)

Anyways, I'm wondering where I can find some info about getting the mothers to produce more clones... like if topping or FIMing works anywhere else on the plant.

I read a few things about bonsai mums, but it looks like those need to be started young, from clones. I might do that later once I've determined the sexes, but these plants are 2 months old and from seed, so I think its too late to start that.

I looked at the FAQ but couldnt find much about mothers. Any suggestions, links or readings are appreciated

And when you take cuttings save 1 node below the cutting, get it? So when it grows you get 2 growth shoots from that cut spot.

I did LST them, they're going in a spiral its pretty cool...

Ok so a node is where a leaf or something is growing right? So when I take a cutting I just leave a stub with 1 leaf?

2 leaves. each leaf will give you 1 new shoot.

No pics yet, I might post some later when I put them into flower... really soon. I just havnt bothered to take pics of the 'mothers' because I'm not sure of the sex yet.

Also, I realized last week that I was actually vegging under 2700k lights. They seemed to do fine, but might have been a little slow. they're growing with a vigor now with the 6500k flouros in the veg closet.
