.............long time lurker first time poster, but i had a question that i couldnt find an answer for or another example of the same situation in any other posts............. I germinated and planted 8 feminized northern light seeds in soil in separate pots 4 days ago and 6 seedlings turned out normal. However, 2 of the 8 seedlings have branched out almost below the soil so that there appears to be 2 seedlings growing from the same emerging root system. Both of the seedlings that are exhibiting these traits have strange looking cotyledon and the emerging true leaves are much smaller than those of the other seedlings and are also twisted and deformed looking. The only explanation that i have been able to come up with is that maybe the plants are polyploids or have some other type of mutation, as they seem that they would be too young for any type of stress to have caused this to only two of the seedlings. I have done nothing different than i have with any of my other grows and have never seen this, although this is my first time using feminized seeds. Has anybody else ever dealt with seedlings like this or have any explanations? They look really strange...i will try and get some pics up later so you all can check em out, but any ideas in the meantime would be greatly appreciated!!!
