Nor Cal homie... isn't san diego super stingy and strict on growers/tokers? i guess it balances out the awesome climate.

Hey, thanks for replying on my thread, sweet setup you got goin here, hopefully I can get something similar going, just curious, you say that kush is always a good yielder, how much have you gotten off of your best kush plant?

sweet pics :)
I thank you sir, for this harvest I have saved the best pics for when it's all dry. for now i'm just giving teaser pics (low quality and shitty focus). good things are coming, stick around.

haha, kush has infamously low yields, I have gotten 1oz off a kush plant at best. but its the best smoke i've encountered, so it gets to live!
as for my growing I started super ghetto, made hella mistakes, and generally noobed out. thats why i feel confident that in a season or two i can take all this knowledge i learned and do a nice juicy grow in a new space. i'm liking what i have now, but i can still stay legal and grow hella tree plants.

So I finally built a drying cab (ghetto as always!) and harvested the rest of the mendo, as well as a 1/3 of the finished kush.

I will get the rest of the kush when I free up some drying space, but its getting more purple by the day.

the three little kushs are almost out as well so that'll be a nice summary to that experiment (that I won't be repeating prolly). SOG made the kush look very nice and plump, but they didn't get as big as i would'v liked.

Pics: 1st-harvest pic (most of it, should've gotten a side view to show how high its stacked)
2nd- cool pic i think
3rd- this is one branch, the biggest of the lot. took me forever to manicure. you wont see it till its dry, sorry, nor the kush

Here's two stalks from the mendo. quite fluffy (just as it was in my SOG of seasons past), but plentiful. I may try out Gravity.

sorry for the poor quality of the focus on these pics, my hands are too damn shaky. anyways, more on the way.

thanks for stopping by, Dr. G

no pics right now just an update:

I put another WW in the flowering chamber yesterday, which makes 1 new WW, 1 WW about halfway through, 2 new TWs and 2 more TWs 1/3 through budding. add to this the kush. sweet sweet medicine!

I transplanted two more kushs into their final homes. i'll have another generation of three kushs, which i look forward to.

the remnants of the mendo mostly got trimmed up an hour ago, and i'm really just waiting for a shitload to dry. the mendo that did dry up (first part of the harvest) reached a bit over an ounce, and that was about 1/3 of the plant.
that's it my friends, :peace: for now. pics sooner than later

so i trimmed up the second harvest of the mendo purps (i never did snap a pic of the first harvest total) and took off the last of the bottom growth from it.

so now that i have that space, i can fit 3 more kushs in to bud, and 3 more when i pull the small kushs soon.

the big kush is drying still, and the last pic on here is of its stem and roots which i dried and will hold on to.

the first pic is a WW on the left and a TW on the right, the second is the top TW nug, the other two are of the second harvest from the mendo now sitting in a jar... so check it out, and i'll have some quality pics before you know it! :peace:

the stem was from the kush which was very root bound at the bottom... that and i yanked/cut those roots out, cleaned them, and dried it. the root system is still sitting in the dirt that i have to take out back, lol.

alright, to the few of you still out there here's a full update (finally).

To finish up the first chapter of this grow, this post has pics of the root systems of the kush and the mendo, respectively. I'm gonna use all that dirt to make some killer veggies, maybe even a poppy or two!

first pic is kush, second two are the mendo
RIP

here's the vegging plants, from the clones to the WW i'm about to transplant... the plants are mostly Trainwreck and Purple Kush with one or two WWs floating around... I'd like to get a few of the kushs big again, and really spread it out.

Here's the main event, with plants like the White Widow (pic 1) moving in with a growth spurt, the first WW (pic 2) coming along smoothly, or the fucking insane crazy ridiculous and awesome growth of the trainwreck (pic3 is of the 1st TW, the others are just as vigourous.).

I'm definetly keeping TW in a solid rotation esp. with that bigass mendo out of the way! I feel like its the perfect learner/experimenter's plant with it suppleness, and ease of training.

the kush (pic 4) was obviously nitrogen def, but i think it just too early to lose all those leaves so i gave it a very small feeding of grow big.

Speaking of kush, I saw an article in West Coast Cannabis (my all time favorite weed magazine found usually @ clubs) about a product called 'Kushie Kush' which is the first nute marketed just for cannabis, specifically for kush strains. It's only sold at cannabis dispensaries, so I guess I just might give it a go for shits and giggles. Also, Purple Kush was named Weed of the Month in that issue, such a mega props to my favorite strain!
I'll try to get more info on those crazy nutes.

I'd love to get some feedback on this grow at this stage, but I feel its going great so that's a huge part. :peace:
