How do you get rid of springtails?

I have a 100% organic grow (first time closet grow) and it appears that my 3 girls have springtails in the soil. I was wondering if they will harm my plants, I am on my 20th day of flowering and my plants are growing strong. I do not want to use any chemicals. I saw where someone recommended sand, but I am a noobie, so I want some input first. :-P Thanks!

Springtails shouldn't hurt anything I use them in my terrarium to feed my poison dart frogs. They actually eat all the frog poop and decaying stuff in the tank. There like little janitors.
How did you end up with springtails in your soil?
