try getting a hybrid, if you like head highs get sativa, if you like to be couch locked get indica or if you like tall plant get sativa or short bushy then indica its your pref. i hate sativas now since i been growing one for ever and it takes a long time for sativas to finish flowering, so go with indicas 8-9 weeks, sativa 12-14+ weeks flowering

sativa's tend to stretch taller during flower and generally dont yield great amounts, but grown right they will lift that ass to the 9th cloud, indicas are generally shorter than sativas but these days with these hybrids you sometimes might get an indica that stretches tall, but it usually yields good under the right conditions....but the same can be said of sativas

Indicas are ideal for indoor growing, Sativas are a bitch to grow indoors, they get too tall.

Indicas will mature in half the time and flower in 8 to 9 weeks, while Sativas will flower for months and months.

many indica/hybrids that produce rather dense bud and yields
i was mulling this question over the last year, smoked many a bag sativa long ago, but wasn't sure how indica was going to be(for my tastes)
my nl#5 grow gave me some pretty nice smoke, harvested with a bit less amber, result is a 'low couch lock', great smoke for the evening to unwind with

It all comes down to your personal preference and has absolutely nothing to do with anything anyone else likes or dislikes.

Do you go to a restaurant and ask the people sitting at different tables what you should order?

Do you know what you like the most? Is it a soaring clear inspirational motivational head high of a pure sativa? It is the mind numbing, body incapacitating nearly catatonic major-munchie producing stone of a pure indica? Is it a combination of each and if so which would you prefer to be the more dominant or would you prefer an equal mix?

Decide for yourself what you and only you like. Then research the different strains and pick the one or ones that best fit your personal likes the most and pay no attention to anything anyone else says they like and therefore suggests unless it comes down to something like two or three different breeder’s versions of the same strain and you want to know specifics on each like height and nodal spacing and production etc.

If you do ask those sorts of questions be sure to include with your question or questions a detailed description of your grow area. Size (width, depth, height, even location can matter as in an attic grow), lighting, air ventilation/circulation, system of growing (soil, hydro, aero), reflective material used, types of fertilizer(s)/nutrients used, cO2 system or no cO2 system and anything and everything else you can possibly think of to add. Only then will you stand a decent chance of receiving information that might actually be of value and assistance to you. If not all you will receive, which is likely what you will still receive the most of, is pure opinion.

Other than that decide for yourself.

If you are not aware of this site, Seed Finder, follow the link below and you will be able to find information on roughly 1,742 strains produced by 110 different breeders. It is a good source for information and then when you put together a short list you can research further using other sites and methods.
