Default cloning
is it better to clone from top or bottom of plant? ive been hearing to many different opinions and want to know whats right or if it even matters that much

I think in terms of quality, it doesn't matter. They're coming from the same plant. But if you clone from the bottom, a lot of times you have skinnier clones that are bent because they were growing sideways and then had to bend to the light. So in that regard, clones from the top are usually straighter and sturdier, so your success rate might be a little higher.

It best to clone from tender shoots where-ever they are

in my experience its better to clone from the bottom of the plant. its sometimes hard to clone from the top. ive been told that the bottom part of the plant has more rooting hormones.
