Canna-coco vs hydro or aero ponics

Hey everyone,
new here, just got my equipment back, 6 1000s and a t5 florecent 8 bulb. I cant wait to pop these beans, but was wondering what those of you around here think of canna products vs using a straight hydro set up. 'I think i like the coco and seems like it will work, the grow shop guy who was into it 2 years ago is still pusing it hard.

if anyone has and experience with both i hope to hear from ya.
