Hang the towel so the bottom of it is in a pan of water. It will wick the water up and provide more air surface to dry into. When you can you should wet the towel manually, keep a spray bottle there. If it's that hard get a little humidifier. If you are thinking of a portable AC, the kind that vent out a window with a hose, they also function as humidifiers. You don't have to work with just the grow space - if you get humidity in the whole room up.
