i was checking my plants today and found these little beauties. my plants have been in flower for 5 weeks now, under a combo of cfl's and hps. i only water with distilled water when the meter tells me to. i only use nutes every 14 days. alaska big bloom, 0-10-10. these plants are covered in bud sites and i have no males any where. they have been inside the whole time. i have not noticed this growth before,


also i have "heard" that if a plant has brown hairs it has been pollinated. but i have also heard different, and seen pics of plants that are covered in brown hairs and not one seed.

the pics are of 2 different plants. the first pic is the growth and then the top cola of the same plant with no seeds in it. the third and fourth pics are of another plant that is sprouting brown hairs out of the stem when it first opens.

and if i do have a hermi, when would i see seeds? do they only come at the very end? any help and i will plus one your rep.

Pics 1 and 5 are definately balls...It does not look open yet but you will not be able to see them all.
You will start seeing the seed closer to harvest time.Thats when they will be developed and ripe enough.

should i pull the plants and let them keep flowering else where? do i kill them? what should i do? i have no clue how this could have happened... damn it. i have been working very hard on this shit and really need the money....

Pull the balls off before they open, a bit labor intensive but it might keep you from a seeded crop and you wont have to kill the plant.

Just pull the balls you can see and let it grow out you came this far..You will still be able to get some bud to smoke or do as you please with it you dont need to kill it.

Not to thread Jack but seriously if you see any type of growth on your female plant then what else could it be? It's not something from mars where we are all trying to gather information on this new plant species called cannabis. You don't need an expert to tell you if it's a hermie you need eyes and a search engine called google.
