ok, so i am off to but the hygrozyme and the sm-90 and hope this all works. I have in there right now only ph'd water and hydrogen peroxide. SHould I add the hygro and the sm-90 to the water and hydro per, or dump it and add the reg nutes for week 2 and the hygro and sm-90?

So I added the Hygrozyme and the SM-90 to the ph'd water and hydrogen peroxide. The 2 White Widows are off and good to go, the roots are still a little tan, but the plants are standing up nicely. My biggest Bubba though, not so good, the roots are about 2 feet long, and were slimy and gunky as hell, now they are just tan, no slime. The 2 items seem to be helping, but the hole plant is very wilted, anyone know if i should add some nutes too, there is no sign any any nute burn, and the ppm before this fiasco, was 1140.

I will post pictures when I am back, I am actually doing this from my new iphone, whoo hoo.

well u can buy stuff at the hydro store but i use tetra guard at walmart its for the control alge i only add like three drop's but u have to make sure it's safe for fish and LIVE plant's. that should clear up any problem if not then the problem is pretty serious and may not be able to correct meaning just ride it out to harvast and be more carfull next time.

Thanks, I dont see any alge built up, but since introducing the Hygrozyme and the SM-90, and only running those with ph'd water and Hydrogen Peroxide the roots look better, and almost all the plants have stood back up from wilting.


The roots are not building up that slimy gunk any more. They are more white, less yellow and looking way better.


You can see the little hairs again, instead of slimy buildup.

I will be adding the nutes back tomorrow.

I use HYGROZYME in my Aerogarden. My roots are now very white and clean. It's really helped my latest grow. I started using it about 2.5 weeks ago. Check out this link:
