Right so im all set to go for this 1 ,, have 5 fem la diva autoflowers germinating now.
I just have a couple of questions
I have bought miracle grow organic all purpose soil and am wondering if thats gonna be good to use ? it says on the bag feeds for up to 6 weeks ,, have some left over bat guano from a previous grow but with the cycle of the autoflowers being 8 to 10 weeks should i even bother with the bat guano ? Using a 250w hps on 20/4 for the first month and 18/6 for the second.

PLS can someone that knows about auto's or that has grown them help a brother out ?
Cheers peace and love

I'm about to start some La Diva myself. And I also got a few Easy Ryders I don't have a lot of first hand knowledge of auto's. I do know you should probably stay away from miracle grow, heard bad things from friends that tried it. The recommended light cycle from the breeder (delicious seeds) is 20/4 through the whole life of the plant. remember the KISS rule (keep it simple stupid). I've been reading a lot about people wanting to change the cycles but keep in mind that's the whole point that's why they were bread with the Ruderalis genes, to be able to get 2 harvest in one season with the long days (right?). But from what I've read they will grow under almost any light cycle even 24/0.

I going with Ocean Forest Soil, Fox farms nutes (maybe additives too) for bloom.
For Seedling 3 - 35w CFL (2400 lumens 6700k)
For Bloom 400w hps
In a 2ft X 4ft tent.
just need an inline fan and an air scrubber before I start this one.
Not sure how many i should start with at one time any suggestions?

First time I've used the Fox Farms nutes. The grow store guys talked me into it since I was going with the Ocean Forest.
In the past I've always used Botanicare and had amazing results. I've got more more hydro experience, but for this grow I wanted to go as simple as possible, and natural. I was looking for Organicare nutes but theres apparently not alot of growers around here (or growers that use organics?) so the shop doesn't keep them in stock due to shelf life.
Like I said I have more hydro experience but i would stay away from that miracle grow soil. be careful with the bat guano and that miracle grow mix too, check the phosphorus on that soil.

I'm wondering about "topping" the plants?? It's a Blue Berry cross, from what I've read (Jeff Mowta I think) it likes to be pruned. Friends that I've seen grow that strain without some kind of pruning get almost nothing on their plants. 7 - 14 grams per. With topping 24+. But does Diavolo or Auto's need to be cut at all? I've never seen anybody top an auto. ?
I'm no expert by any means but that what i got. ;)
Good Luck. Keep me updated.
