Howdy all,

My growroom seems to have a horrible odor that just started within the last day or so. It sort of smells like sweaty ass.

At first I thought it was a mold thing but I dunno exactly.

If anyone has any ideas it would be most appreciated.

some pot when growing smells like sweaty ass. GEt better ventilation.

I have a 265 cfm venting to the outisde through a can filter. Would the natural sweaty ass smell start that quickly? I'm halfway through week 2 flower... and I'm growing a strain called Asshole and SS early bud from wild rose seeds. You really think they meant asshole literally? haha

You're growing a strain called asshole and you wonder why your plants smell like ass?
What made you pick that particular strain, or did someone give you seeds?

Haha I bought it at the local seedbank store and the guy said the buds get so heavy that the whole plant tips over which is exactly what I'm looking for. I was just surprised to have it actually smell like ass.

I just want to be aboslutely sure its not mold or mildew or some other horrible spore like fungus.

What's the humidity in the room? If it never goes above 60-70% and you have good air movement in the room there shouldn't be any mould.

"D00d...this stuff smell like shit!" lolz.

Humidity is stable around 40-50% with several oscilating fans. Its a soil grow with 8 plants in promix with botanicare organic nutes. The nutes dont smell like ass, nor do the plants smell like ass. I tried to find a localized source of the stink with no luck. Just general assy type smell. I have a 600 watt HPS with temps maintaining around 28 degress celcius.

I'm stumped
