Not I, but I'd say be cautious of cheap gear.
Moisture meter: Use plenty of perlite or vermiculite in your soil for good drainage. Learn the weight of wet soil, damp soil, and dry soil in your pots or learn to gauge by sticking your finger into the soil. It would be a shame to drastically overwater or underwater due to an inaccurate gauge.
pH meter: Why bother with soil. I tested for 5 months and never had to make any kind of adjustment with soil. As long as your water or soil is not waaaay out of whack, the soil will buffer plenty.
Photometer: I know what it does, but what's the point? Put your lights as close as you can without burning. If you can get more light, do it! I can see it's benefit in photography but I think you'll find little use for it. |
