I already have a 400w hps flower room, is a 200w envirolite kit thing enough for say, 8-16 plants to veg? I'd probably make a mylar reflective tent or something

8 plants yes, sixteen would be pushing it. You could use the 400 watt hps to veg them until your ready to switch to flowering. the 200 watt enviro will work fine until about 6 to 8" of height, so it does depend on how long you veg them. VV

My bad about one thing, realistically its probably 10 or 12 plants, you mentioned 400w hps for the veg but I want to make 2 grow rooms for cycles, and the hps will be busy with flowering at all times in my already set up flower room. The hps flower room is 2 meters cubed. Im just wondering if a 200 w envirolite would be good to veg them without having to spend the same amount of money for another hps room. If I have 10 plants at 8 inches by the end of veg (to go to the flower room), should I be content? could I probably get 200 g's (dry) with higher yielding strains with the Sea of Green set up I mentioned? 200w envirolite 24/7 35 days, then 400w hps 8-10 weeks 12/12. This would be my first sea of green, but I have already grown hydro with just the hps and my tent successfully. You said I could probably only get them to 8 inches, but since its a sea of 10 or 12 plants, can I put them in the flowering room that short? If not, could anyone recommend a cheap good veg cfl set up that would meet the mentioned yield standards? I use masterkush, that has always yielded me a lot without SOG.
