hey is water with a ppm of 700 too high to use in my rez. i'll only be using it for the first 2 weeks for my newly rooted clones. i should have an RO filter in about a week or two.
its a hydro system obviously.

unless your water quality is extremely terrible, 700 ppm is a very off number to have for ppm. anything above 200 is considered high levels. I would recomend anything other than that, its almost like the water is so heavy in metals that there would be more metals than nutrients. 700 ppm... wow.

k thanks, yeah it's water from my dam.. my mains water is 300-400, but i'm sick of hauling buckets around. a tap that is connected to my dam is about 1m from my grow room.. mains water is about 100m away

My tap water is near 500 so I bit the bullet and got a RO unit.
