Please help - Does this Female look normal?

I'm a newbie grower please help me know if my plant is acting normal...in the picture you will see that what I thought are buds are opening up and some of them have dropped off of the plant. The pistils are present at the base of the stem so I thought it was female.

Is this a normal stage in flowering?
What's happening?

Can you get a pic of the pistils you saw?

Well I don't need the seeds, so should I hang it up and smoke it? Can I smoke the pollen?

Here is a pic of what I thought to be the pistil. Could it be a hermie?

If all the flowers look like the one in your first pic, it's no hermie. I've heard of people making hash oil out of males, I'm sure you can find some info on that.
