Question Double Pot setup

Yeah so I just double potted my plants. I thought there wasn't enough soil for the plant, so I cut the bottoms out of the pots they were in, and stuck them right on top of new pots filled with soil.

The roots were scattered all across the bottom of the original pot. Will the roots adapt, or will this move kill my plants? My plants are about 1 month into the veg state. Flowering starts tomorrow.

They'll be fine... definitely recover. I've heard that some gardeners when repotting always slice off the bottoms of the roots so that they are all pointing downwards... I didn't like the sound of it myself so I didn't do it.

I concur,

Hey tenn I think you sent me a pm about stretching... Stretching generaly occurs when the light source is to far from the plant... The plant trys to over compensate and "stretches" for the light... The plant becomes tall an lanky...
This is stretching

Cheers

What i've done (as not all my clones came from the best sources) is top the clones that have stretched, right back to the point where the stretching started. This has left me with short bushier plants. If you allow the stretching to go unchecked you will lose out on yield. If you see stretching I'd recommend topping it back to the point where the stretching started. Some people top their plants as a matter-of-course as this allows 2 main colas.
