Default Making sure you have the best lighting environment
So in the things to know about lighting thread, in the very first post someone claims that you can simply take the number of lumens your lighting fixture outputs and divide it by the square footage of the room your growing in to get the lumens/sq. ft.

A square ft rating is THE MOST IMPORTANT! you need to know if all parts of your grow rooom and your plants are getting the light you desire to give them.

I believe THERE IS NO WAY that is true... the posting in the "things to know about lighting".. how is it that with all the claims...even the poster makes this claim...that the closer the light the more lumens...

so what if your grow room is 100 sq. ft. and your light is hung in the middle of the room...your going to try to tell me the corners are getting as much light as the middle of the room?

NOO!!!...your stupid!!! lol...sorry but that's the truth...you even completely contradicted yourself within the post.

IM SO SICK OF PEOPLE GIVING OUT FALSE INFORMATION!!!! DON"T give advise unless it's right....if you give advise that you don't know 100 % is right...SAY I'm not srue.... but this is what my experience has shown...experience is always better then just book smarts

And experience shows that the higher the lumens the more plants grow...so all that garbage about needing to take the measure of PAR and PUR...and don't pay attention to lumens...SHUT UP AS WELL! yes PAR and PUR are a more accurate form of measure for plants...but lumens is still great...and the most commonly used on the marketplace so it will help buyers.

O.k. enough ranting...onto a question that I have.

I'm going to be getting some t5 ho lights for first time...just looking for experienced knowledge with these systems.

Whats the watt's of the bulbs you use? how many bulbs, and mainly HOW MANY PLANTS are being successfully grown under the lights. THat is more of anythign that I'm looking for. I need to figure out how many light systems I'm going to buy, and whether I want one with like 8 bulbs and HELLA wide...or a bunch more small ones... and how many i need to get to grow my babies, obviously I know the more the better, but just give me a minimum number and I'll start with that if i have the extra capital for more i will get more.

I DO NOT WANT TO USE THAT MH SHIT! way too expensive on your utilities bill for veg...i am using hps for flowering.

Thank you to the people who know what they're talking about...piss off and die if your stupid, your wasting up oxygen and putting unwanted carbon footprints on my planet earth!

I have no tolerance for stupidity.
