Default the htg supply grow tent + 8" 500cfm fan

I know alot of people choose to make their own, however I think since this tent is only a one time investment i'd rather order it from a place who does this as a profession and getting the highest quality + good ventilation methods.. I was wondering if anyone owns one of these and has anything to say about it.. Link is High Tech Garden Supply

Right now my temps are hitting 100 F with 400 watt MH running, so i need something to keep them more organized as welll as give them complete darkness during flowering and this looks like it..

I also am going to order the cheap 500 cfm 8" its only $45 which isnt bad for a small setup of 8 plants link is at High Tech Garden Supply

any opinions would be appreciated

Hey Ralphie, my buddy has one of their tents he likes it fine, you should be fine with 8 planys. Does your light have a cooling reflector, they work best IMO? I just ordered a 600 watt with a nice tube cooling hood and my temps have dropped in my grow room.

I have the 48" from htg, it is actually a previous generation "homebox". Honestly, if I had to do it again I would build my own from panda poly and three-way pvc connectors; cause thats all this really is... (actually the tent is very high quality, but poly would work the same)... make sure you take a very good look at the way the ventilation is intended to be setup ... 3 flapped lower vents, two vent tubes (from the roof), and two rear 6x6 cord flaps. Those are your openings to work with... I wish there were real lower and upper vent ports on the back as well as the ceiling, would allow more flexibility

don't get it if you don't have an air cooled reflector - look for a tent with a lower intake port/tube

Ralphie if you ordered the 8 inch fan you should get the 8 inch reflector. Yeah those tents get hot, which should be OK after the summer. It's well worth getting the cooling reflectors, I didn't get one for my 400 watt and I haven't been able to use it all summer...it's just to hot so I had to veg with cfls.
