Get some good trimming scissors, Fiskars makes some good ones. get ones with springs to make them open themselves up. Your hand will get awfully tired with regular scissors.
I like to listen to music , I tried watchin TV, but you can't watch it unless you wanna cut your own fingers off. I also like to have someone come over and help, then you can BS with em. Get a comfortable chair and a large plastic sheet to lay on the floor to catch the trimmings. Good to have some isopropyl alcohol to help clean your fingers off from all the stickiness.

--flushing is optional but well worth it.

--if you have any of those silica packets, ya know the ones you get in a new pair of shoes or backpack or whatever, throw a couple of them in the box/bag with your popcorn nugs to help absorb moisture. If you don't have any, go to sears or wherever and snatch a couple of em out of their goods, nobody ever notices.

Tip: harvest over a big piece of paper or plastic so that it may catch all the hairs that fall off while manicuring your buds, those little hairs add up. When ur done, put all those loose hairs in a bowl and get ready to go into outer space.

Also, the goo on your manicuring scissors can be scraped and added to ur bowl of hairs.

don't really work, but what you can do is take all the larger dence buds harvest them, leave the more airy buds on the plant. leave it go for 2 weeks or more if you can. they will firm up a bit. they won't get any bigger just firm up..

dunno about that. If you suspect nute burn you may consider flushing immediately then waiting a week at least to harvest. Or what MyGirls said and only harvest the big buds now and wait another 1-2 weeks for the baby buds to toughen up.
