Question pre flowering signs....

is the any pre signs of male or female? or is it just you have to wait till you start to flower? what i mean by pre signs is a way its growing you just kinda can tell its going to be female? or any thing weird like that. just kinda curious.

No way to tell until the preflowers show,
some strains show preflowers at around 4 weeks.
