    Default two-pronged light timer

ok so I have a cheap light timer from radio shack, with only 2 prongs in the outlet instead of 3. The problem is my power strip has a 3-pronged cord. I have a 3>2 prong socket converter thing, would this be safe to use? TBH I've already been using it for a few weeks lol, I have the power strip plugged into the converter and the converter plugged in the timer. I just wanted to know if this was safe or should I get rid of the timer. I can take pics if that will help.

The "prong" you are referring to is the ground. You should be fine.

right now only my 250w HPS is plugged in the power strip, but I plan on buying an electric moisture meter/thermometer soon
