wiring a fan speed controller is easy as pie.

you put the voltage lines from the breaker in one side (input terminals) and the voltage lines to the output terminals and control the voltage with a knob.

a damper is just a circle that is the size of the duct and you rotate it to cover the air flow. yeah a carbon filter would restrict some air flow too, but a damper is 100% adjustable from none to max. not to mention a damper costs like $5

cool, I basically view carbon as a ripoff unless its a very large system w/ like a 10 gallon carbon air scrubber since you can get ~$5 jars of smell-removal gel from the hardware store that should last a few months if you mix em at some point. just leave the gel at the exhaust point and you nix the chance of gelbuds.

they are very easy to use.. pretty sure you just plug the fan into the controller itself, which is plugged into the wall.. no wiring.. no hassle.. just very easy fan speed control..

Yeah i got a fan speed control. Cost me $60, but was easy as pie, just plugged straight in - which is good, cos i hav a history of destroying things wen i fiddle with them.
