there are actual strains out there that doesn't need cold temps, i've seen plants turn dark purple in 80+ temps.

Yeah quite possible but I'm sure the cold nights would aid the strains that already have purple characteristics.

home_grown there is plants out there like that not just "quite possible". This is better because if you induce the cold temps to a plant to make it turn purple you are actually stressing the plant, that is why most purple doesn't smoke as good as nice green strain.

lol, I am quite aware that certain strains have purple characteristics. But what fdd was stating was that it is in the genetics and probably further more enhanced by the cold nights!
