for sure indoors... i hear you guys when you say pay ur bill and dont tell anyone.... but wont it raise sum red flags if i go into a new house, set up 5 or 6 1000 hps, JUST pay my bill??? for real?? I have a house already that i pay a bill at, what about that??

Okay, this is how it is done by SUCCESSFUL growers. You read about the failures in the papers all the time. This is actually simple advice, but few have the discipline to pull it off.
1.) Rent a home in an affluent neighborhood.
Affluent ppl tend to mind their own business and don't live out in their backyards....they travel or are at the golf course. Cops tend to not cruise safe neighborhoods.
2.) Turn all major electric appliances off and keep them off.
Essentially, you will be "camping" in the house, not living in it.
3.) No Girlfriends or Visitors .. ever
The life of a successful indoor grower is a LONELY occupation. If you like to show off or need to have friends.....don't grow, it only ends ONE WAY....badly.
4.) Pay Your Bills on time .. nuff said there.
5.) Stay indoors. You need to become a ghost in that neighborhood. The more you are out, the more locals you will meet .. bad thinking.
Basically you need to become a hermit if you want to go all the way AND not get arrested. You can have a dozen successful grows, but if caught once, you will lose everything. Like having to fight many battles, and if you lose any skirmish, you lose the entire war.
Most are not up to this lifestyle.... good luck

You need a fall guy. You get a contract and rent it to him. His name is on all the bills. If it gets busted, he takes the fall (*cough* fall guy). You claim absolute ignorance. He gets a large chunk of the profits, you get the rest. How much is dependent on how good you can negotiate.

LOVE THE RESPONsE CRACKERJAX! I have a home now that i will not be able to give up, will have to incorporate in sum how. I am not able to go completely under, i could have a 2nd unknown life thoug, with another house and all, would that set off any flags, running two households with electric, with of course paying on time a nd such. What if i set up a fake business, it would still have to be under my name but at least it would look on the up and up.

It's not unusual for folks to have two houses, so no, that in itself is not a red flag.

Another way could be to be friendly with your neighbors when you do see them... This has worked well for me... They keep an eye out for ya if there is any suspicous activity... good luck under cover brother...

Most people have Ego's and blab for self fulfillment. Running 6,000 watts in a house is not unusual, it would not raise any flags as long as the bill is paid. Keep your Yard looking nice, make sure the house is properly maintained and looks good from the sidewalk.
Get a security system and have the company call your cell phone for all alarms, do not involve police obviously. A good watchdog/small barking dog is a nice thing to have to keep you aware of people on your property. Large guard dogs are more of a hindrance than a help, while visually deterrent they tend to make a mess, leave large "yard Bombs" and bark too loudly for most neighbors. The Lhasa Apso is an excellent breed, they have excellent hearing and were traditionally used as palace early warning systems.
Like previously posted. Tell No One, this is probably the hardest aspect. Also profess to know nothing about plants or the growing of MJ. Play stupid when the subject comes up.
Make sure your home has a garage you can just pull into, so that you never leave yourself exposed to neighbors who want to shoot the shit or invite you to the block party. Put a "No Solicitors" sign on your front door to keep salespeople and religious zealots away.
Try to keep a normal persons schedule when it comes to using the house, be seen pulling in after 5pm as if you were driving home after work. Never allow people to come over unannounced if you allow any at all.
