Has any one any good tips for collecting honey oil and storing using butane gas

i just let the oil and gas set in a bowl then use a credit card to scrape it from the bowl then just put put on my skins and then just use them papers to smoke with some buds

i have only made honey oil 4 times now so im learing still any one with more experance on this

I've used the butane method i works great.I pour mine in to a little cooking pot that has a pouring spout on the side.when all the gas is gone I heat up the oil and slowly pour it into an oil vial or two. works like a charm.put a few parers under the vile to catch any spills.

You could mix it with 99% isopronanol. It will store fairly well and makes getting the honey oil together easier. Let it evaporate off and it will be fine.

thanks kieah but i think i prefair the butane method
plus i got riped off from buying 1 of the honey be extractors so i might as well put it to use lol

ive tryed holding a lighter close to it with ive scraped it up on my credit card to let it drip into a small bottle but never works right

right, it can be extracted with isopropanol, but that stuff is highly flammable. okay, butane is that as well, but iso fumes stay, butane fumes disperse rather quickly, and iso can knock you out in no time, no fun on that one. besides it is maybe carcinogen, so it has to evaporated first before the hash oil can be used. but on the other hand it is cheaper then truckload of small butane bottles...


...oh i can't make up my mind tonight, if you looking for a little hash oil butane is the way i guess, but for a lot you have to go industrial and that means isopropanol is the way.

did you hold that lighter to the bud???! dude, the butane method is a high pressure extraction, thats the only way it works

No i had my oil made already set i wasent mad enough to try and burn oil from a bud LOL

Its when i was geathering it using a credit card then just holding the lighter close enought to it to heat and let it drip of suppose it works ok just wanted to know if any of use had better experance clecking and storing

I know i to get the oil thats not a prob its collecting the shit thats the prob lol

A Hairdryers a good idea for heating it up again tho to make it workable never thought of that
