The Ultimate Bagseed Thread.

Alright, I'm starting this thread mosty to show new growers that they don't need to grow $200 seeds to grow good dope.
Pretty much anyone who has ever bought weed before has got a bag with seeds. Now, at the time you might have been pissed and cursed your dealer for selling you this shit. Well I'm here to tell you that there is good reason to try them out.

All these plants came from the same seedy bag my dad bought. When I mentioned I was considering growing he tossed me these seeds.
Turns out they were obviously a product of a hermie in the growers room as they had a ratio of about 4/1 female to herm. From those seeds I've now got 3 distinct mothers.
This strain has since come to be known around here as the SpruceZeus.

I've had great success with buying seeds from breeders as well, this is not an anti-breeder thread. Only an attempt to show that bagseed is good seed indeed.

I'm on my first grow, and didn't want to start with a batch of pricey seeds when I have seeds from some really good smoke I've had. Most of them are mid grade and have been going hermie at a pretty good rate. It's still good smoke though! I couldn't happier with it being my first grow. Here are some pics of my plants from about 1 week ago.

Looking good. Another month or so and you'll be smoking the fruits of your labours.

Thanks, actrually I didn't realize those pics are from about 3 weeks ago. 1 came down 3 days ago with another 2 to follow by the end of the week.

got any pictures of the ones you're about to harvest???

I don't want to make any unfair assumptions here, but it is my opinion that 95% of first time growers harvest far too early. I'd hate to see another fall into that catagory.

Not a very good picture. It's also the only one a have, taken about two weeks ago. I found this one seed in an ounce of beasters. I thought it would be a hermie for sure but it turned out to be a pretty good looking female.

Not right now. shhhhh. I'm at work. I do at home and can put some up later.

I've been trying to push it off and not go to early. I have now way to check the trich, so I'm going by overall appearance.

I think the pics in my journal are a little newer (link in sig). About a week ago or so. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
