What a sad day here in my area of the world they busted 2 guys growing 30000 plants in the county forest preserve.What a shame so close and its all done and over and now they will be in jail forever.Its the largets outside grow operation bust ever made in the United States.I guess they were believers of go big or go home..What a shame

OMFG idiots! wtf is up with all these bust, its putting heat on us small time survivors! WTH were they thinking growing fields of that shit in a danm reserved area. Sooner or later you'll need a danm license to buy freaking garden supplies.

there were just one of these bust in dallas about 7 acres they say on cnn not even a wk ago. They found it when some construction people move in to do some work on a site. Wth are these people thinking going guerilla with other people(LEO) properties. WTF is wrong with them.

Problem is that its usually illegal mexican hired to come over and grow and most are not to bright and have no idea of Americas technological force.They do things to open as if in Mexico and think no one will say anything.I saw all the activity this was about 15 minutes from home and you could always smell it in the air over that way.I knew it had to be alot of plants so I stayed away from that preserve as I figured it was a more secure op and didnt wann find its owners lol.Good thing is when dummies get caught it keeps the man busy with idiots lol

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Pinellas Sheriff's deputies say they've confiscated five pot plans and 11 seedlings from the home of a Largo High School teacher.

33-year-old Richard Montgomery Smith is charged with the pot growing enterprise. But investigators say Smith inists the pot was for his own use and not part of any drug business.

Detectives say they also found inside Smith's 46th Avenue North house pot growing equipement, like fertilizer, fluorescent lights and a hydroponic growing system.

Smith teaches Spanish at Largo High. The Pinellas school district says it has launched its own internal affairs investigation into the case, but has not suspended Smith.
