actually, interesting you mentioned dupont.. when dupont made nylon, there was a HUUUUUUUUUGE push to make industrial hemp illegal. i think for one of the world wars they had to allow it again to make canvas or something then back to being illegal so nylon could make its stand and the rich could line the pockets of the richer..

Less than 100G in Ohio is a misdemeanor, So I guess no more than 2-3 plants gets you a $100 ticket. 100g to 200g is max 30 days and $500 fine.

Where I live, it's only a "cultivation" charge if they can prove your crop isn't for personal use. The number of plants doesn't matter at all. If you can prove it is for personal use, it's a possession charge, which is an unclassified misdemeanor = 30 days in jail and a $250 fine

you forgot to mention all the politicians who own majority interest in companies subcontracted by the federal government to run concentration camps, i mean prisons... there's federal prisons in the US where 60% or more of the guests are busted for drugs, most of them non violent marijuana offenders....

the former head of the DEA was convinced drugs were poison, he actually tried to tell the ppl making american drug war that he went to amsterdam and it was a drug infested wasteland... i've been there, and yeah, it's one of the prettiest, funnest cities i've been to.... no crazy drugged out zombies, no post-apocalyptic wasteland....

For a first offense, the jail time is almost ALWAYS suspended..

So yeah, even though I didn't say it the first time, it's no big deal.

For a misdemeanor, you serve only half of the sentence.. so 30 days is really only 15 days.

I can sleep through 15 days in jail no problem.

I guess it's different depending on where you live. It's also much different for men than it is for women.

I slept through 2 and a half months in a county jail. All the other women were like, "What kind of meds did they give you? I want some!", but I wasn't on anything. Just trying to pass the time. When I wasn't sleeping, I was reading. Nobody really bothered me. They called me "little girl" and gave me candy bars.
