Question about MH and HPS grows

Hey guys,

I was curious if anyone had experience with using MH bulbs for the veg. state of growth, and then HPS for the flowering phase..?

I was planning on getting a setup to use CFL's for the clones, and have a 6 plant hydro system with a MH for veg, and then another 6 plant system with HPS for flowering.. I have some white widow, blueberry, black pearl, and cali chronic seeds right now.. assuming all of this and that i use between a 400-600 watt bulb for both MH and HPS... what kind of harvest do you think i'll get going and how long do you recon i can get between the harvest time wise.. 1 month, 2? thanks guys!

About 10 weeks between harvest. If you have new clones ready. With a 400w light you should get a qp to a hp.

any chance i could push that up to a pd. for each harvest? I guess that would be around 3 oz. per plant.. any changes i could make to the set up to increase yield to around that number? say 1000 watt hps bulb, along with a 400 watt MH bulb or something? I plan on putting mylar up as well and having a nice supply of fresh air... but is 3oz./plant to much to hope for, a lb. really to much for a 6 plant hydro grow with both MH and HPS lights?
