g13 diesel momma had a few babies. here's one of them... just thought i would share. this is a pretty damn easy strain to clone. i took 5 clones and all of them rooted.

gonna put that momma into flower in a week or two and get some seeds from her. gonna cross her with a dutch passion blueberry and get "the dude's blueberry diesel"...

anyone else growing diesel? what is the flowering length like? smell? how do the buds look?

Dutch passion blueberryhave a bad rep to hermi, ive grew them twice, they still turned out ok but you need to keep an eye on them, there is also a thread kicking about the site with a list of known plants to hermi, Blueberry is also on the list.

thanks for the tip, robinbanks. i've grown blueberry before and never had a problem with them going hermie, but i've also never crossed them with another plant. hmmm... i may have to check that out. if you happen across it, could you put it up on here for me to see? any other fruity strains that someone could suggest to cross this with?

Found this, but dont let it put you off ok, i would still grow blueberry, people still say it was a cracking toke.

I grew out DP blueberry fems inside and had hermi problems.

All 3 started out mutant but within 5/6 weeks in veg they started producing normal leaves again (heard other people mention this).

The hermi signs showed at 3/4 wks 12/12 and near end they were throwing bananas out everywhere.

The result was a very seeded crop.

BUT

The seeds that were produced were grown outside by friends this year gorilla style once they had about 8 weeks veg. They had no care or attention at all. They had to be cut about 2/3 weeks early due to mold but produced excellent weed with very few seeds.

If you get them right they are well worthwhile. The high is very uplifting and strangely I seem to get higher up to and hour or so after smoking a joint of it.
