Have any of you guys experimented with the big bud strain? Where did you obtain it? What was the yeild, any tips ect....

Big bud does provide a decent yield and real fat buds, but unless your a newbie smoker it seriously lacks that punch. Its not a very strong strain.

True. I'm also gonna try going some widow. Does anyone know what the average yeild for a big bud plant is? Typically?

hi there, im growing big bud x nl. check out my grow in my sig. still got 3 weeks approx till i harvest. i got the seeds from nirvana.

my favorite strain: big yield, huge dense buds, high potency.

BB isn't doing to well if SOG'ed, so it is a strain for growers with the intention to grow a plant to full size. the best results you get if the plant is frequently topped throwout vegging and tied down to perfect shape. careful with its size, BB gets up to 5ft tall easily if flowered with more then 1ft from veg!
if grown outdoors it tents to stretch quiet a bit and can reach 5-6ft till flower despite its indica gens.

How about this...i'm growing NL x BB and whoever is thinking that BB is good....must not be smoking BB, they are smoking something way stronger to think that. I've seen this first hand, I have the indican dominant pheno and my plant resembles more BB than NL any day of the week. The crystal formation is trash on it, no kind of trichomes...nothing gleaming. Plant looks like a beast, but there ain't no bite to this plant that I can assure you. Mediocre at best, that's why I'm avidly attempting to aquire a better stock of seeds. I have 20 or so clones that I could care less about since the effort really isn't worth it. It's only fun to watch how big it grows, and that's the extent of it. Sorrry if I offend.

i have BB growing and they are finshed thier fourth week of flower and they are nutting on themselves with tricomes all over the leaves in the bud areas.

it isn't the strongest you can grow but more then okay even with little attention to the grow which makes it potential potency more then okay with me, and at leased better then such of so popular white stains which will do produce that much if not grown to peak, and that isn't that easy. so yes, in general the performance of the strain is bud-settling enough
