HOW TO Top your plants and then use the top as a clone(With pics!!)

Hey ya all fellow growers.

So, you ask- How to top your plants?First, before going one think, do you even need to top yor plants, and why you want to do it(you may want-smaller-bushier plant, more yield-like some strains has to be topped to yield more like strain called Blueberry, you want multiple colas, or you just want to experiment)
Ok-first thing to do, get some clean siccors, then as you see in the pics, cut the top off as i did.BAM-your done, wasnt that easy.now you can use that top and make a clone from it.you can use rooting hormones and gels, but i dont.i just put them in a dark glass, cover with it a plastic bag-cut a little hole in the middle and put my clone into it.if you want to use rooting hormone, then do that, but if you have no money to spend, then you can use honey-its belived to speed the rooting process up, but only a little bit.
You can put your clones straight so soil or in rockwool or do as i do-but them in a glass of water.after 3-4 weeks the new roots should emerge.

Yeah I've tried this before. Well, not as a top clone, but more of a smaller clone. The plant right now is probably only 7-8 inches tall, in 4th week of flowering but shes a fatty.

Yup, you can definitely use your top as a clone. I'll do that when I am 100% sure on sex.

careful looks like a few of them are wanting to go into flower.

you can tell by the focus on the 3 leaf growth, if you see 1 point leaves you need to figure out a way to force it back into veg.

yeah man-i know.my clone outside was showing some pre flowers, but the light is way over 12 h.i dunno wats the prob is but my all my clones(5) are under a 23 w cfl now, light kept on so long as the sun comes up.

it takes 3-4 weeks to have a root system?
thats alot bro... dun have that kind of tyme. but i have to
top mine anyway because i dun have
sufficient amount of room

yeah you can top them if not enough room or you can use the supper cropping method-both work well.
3-4 weeks, yeah a lot, but when the roots have formed, then your on your way to the TOP baby!!!!!
