Alot...but it doesnt smell like burning marijuana....it doesnt even really smell like weed....its definitely a strong smell though

oh you'll be fine Rocket, i've done it many times in small apartment complexes!! i agree with Nonstop, it's a strong smell that permiates through the joint, but it doesn't smell like pot, more like some random food cooking...Go for it! i actually just made a batch 2 days ago and then used the butter in a recipe i'd never tried, and let me tell ya, it was a great success!! got it from high times, but you can alter the recipe however you want, but cannabutter mint fudgey chocolate squares...Here's what i did, super easy, 1 bag of chocolate chips of your choice, i got hersheys, put in pan and melt on low heat till liquified, with a stick of cannabutter, or as much as you want, i like potent shit, so i used a full stick, then i put in almost a full pack of Andes mint chocolates, their delicious, after that added a manly handful of marshmellows, when the mix is totally melted, whisk it up for a minute...then you can pour it into teflon coated mini muffin tins, or a cake pan like i did, whatever, then on to the freezer they go for 2 hrs....when done i wrapped individual pieces in tin foil and stored in the freeer...these are soooo good and can't taste that weedy flavor whatsoever...they have a chewy, fudgy consistancy and are a pleasure to eat...i pounded 2 little ones and was really faded till i went to bed! enjoy

i like in a hotel type apartment with 150+ units under 1 roof. so a lot of people walk by my front door every day.

i don't think i'll be able to cook this her. I may have to talk MrsRocket into a camping trip.

You'll be fine. Doesn't smell like pot really. I've done it and it wasn't that bad and I live in a similar setup. It's just cookin' ganja anyway, nobody's going to care.
