hey guys...just wondering would it be crazy or even possible to grow from seed to bud in one of the larger sterilite plastic containers???.....and what would happen if you took clones from a flowering plant and just put the clones straight into flowering and skip veg?

to answer your first question yes its possible to grow in a sterilite from seed to bud and to answer your second queston you can take a clone from a flowering plant and let it root under 12/12 it will yeild low but it will bud.If you want you can add alot of flowering clones and try a sog but you would need a mother for that.

Clone from flowering takes a long ass time with so much stress it could hermie in reveg.
No it dont it takes just as much time as a regular veg plant u clone from.Fdd has a thread about cloning a bud u should take a look at that before you try to give imformation about it.

hey sorry to hi-jack this thread but i don't see a point in making a new one

I filled a few pots with #7 sunshine soil mix and put a few of my seeds in them. So now i have about 8 that sprouted
(no germination or anything, just watered and left them outside) they all look good but i want to know something
cheap and easy i can use to feed em. I see all these people with shitloads of bottles and ph adjusters but this
is my first grow and i'm just getting a feel for it.

Also i put some straight into the ground (just some extra bagseed) and a bunch of them sprouted, probably around 20!
haha. Already though, a few leaves look like they have small holes in them (maybe a bug?) so i need to know what to use
for a pesticide.

Fdd has lots of post, but I give advice from my own experiences. :blsmoke: Do you?
I think not, because if you have tryed this you would see first hand how the clone from a flowering plant must reveg itself and thats really stressful. To the point that it could cause hermi. And we all know how fast and easy it is to clone in veg.

I post from my own exp as well.I got 2 ak 47 clones from a flowering plant and it did not stress into a hermi did yours? My clone also rooted under 12/12 lighting so please explain to me where does it sress at.The only differnce i notice is multiple heads on a clone that was took out of flower. My first pic is a ak47 clone that was cloned from flowering and the next is the 2 clones i took off of this one while it was flowering no problems or stress. So know what you are talking about before you gve imformation about it.

Cheap Ferts? you can always use Miracle Grow. I think you can mix worm castings, blood meal and bone meal. Sometimes I use my indoor ferts outside if the plants are in pots. Personally for me I'm very lucky. I where I live we have extremelly fertile soil and I rarely grow in pots outdoors. I just go right in the ground and I never add much. I usually just add some peat moss and a bit of triple mix and some manuare. That is always enought to get me through a season. I once added bone meal, but didn't realy help me personally. Again I live on extremelly good soil. I'm just lucky though. Just go to your local gardening store and check out what is there. If they ask tell them you are growing tomatoes. That or I hope someone here can give you better advise, sorry.

As for pesticide, in Ontario there is a ban on pesticide. I'm lucky because I just go to the farmers and they don't have the ban. I get some industrial strength stuff. I can find out the name for you, but gerneral publice can't buy it even when there was no ban.

Do you see any bugs o nthe plants? If not during the day see if you can go check them at night. I've often seen slugs in my garden at night and they put holes in plants. You can start by getting some diotomatious Earth. ( I think I spelt that wrong). It's organic. It's sea shells that have been crushed up and when the slugs go over it, it cuts them up, also helps with ants sometimes. Farmer here usually hook me up too. They give it to there cows to help with digestion. Just sprinkle it around the plants. Again just go to your local gardening centre and see what they have pesticide wise.
