how long do i use the veggy cycle for growing stage and how long is it for the flower cycle what should i use for vegg cycle a 24hour light or the 18 hour light and how long is the budding cycle plz help about to start my first grow il pos pics on the way

Vegging stage use 18/6. Flowering stage use 12/12.

How long you veg is dependent on your head room and strain. Most Indicas double in height during flowering. Most Sativas triple in height during flowering. The length of the budding time again depends upon strain. Most Indica/Sativa crosses will be done in 60 to 70 days. Pure Sativas can take up to 120 days and sometimes longer.

You can veg for 18, 19, 20 etc... Anything over 18 hours is good... I would recommend 20-23 hours of light especially if you are using fluorescent lighting.

garden what do you use if you put it under hps ..? or if you had 400... 18/6? or more what have you had the best results with?

I recomend 20 hours of light for vegging cycle.

We indoor farmers are trying to duplicate what Mother Nature does in the outdoors. In the summer, the light cycle outdoors is 18/6 unless you live close to Northern Alaska or something. In the Fall, the light cycle outdoors is 12/12. No offense, but IMHO anything longer than 18/6 during vegging is a waste of electricity.

i use 4 foot flourescents 1/cool white/1 warm white with small cfls hanging around the mother good luck man i use veg-66/6 light----flower-12/12
