hello.i d like to know how many long vegged mature plants can i grow under a 600w hps.

a 600w hps should be good for as many as you want. if you're vegging long you probably want to give them a lot of room
if you veg for a month 9 would fit @ 4sq ft a piece thats 6'x6' which is doable with 600w if you have mylar.
2 months you probably want at least 3'x3' for each plant so maybe 4 or less?

real easy 600 will cover a 3.5x3.5 area for good lumen per sqft output. so how many containers will fit in 16sqft. that depends on the containers youll be budding in ..or if not soil , youll be able to fit more in a hydro system.. say your using 5 gal buckes..those take up a sqft of space..just with the bucket..and you need a lil breathing room ...so id say 10 under a 600 in a 5 gal bucket..put in 1 gal containers it could be double..all depends..this should give u a rough idea

If you are going to veg longer than say 3 weeks then having 8 doesn't make sense to me. Six long vegged plants would probably get you about the same total yield I would think. You will be spending more time and money taking care of 2 extra plants only to have more variety in your stock as a benefit, if you grow from seed.

Fuck that I'd put 12 plants under that 600w.

That's probably the way I would go too. Start a continous grow. Currently I'm just beginning 4 plants every two weeks in rubbermaids in a 4x4 area and it fits perfectly and under my 400w and 150w hps with a little floro side lighting and it works perfectly.

i was thinkin at least 1 month of veg.mature for me means a white widow to be capable to produce 100gr.well how much will really produce depends of course.i d like to try this way next time so maybe i should grow only 6 plants.
