So im gonna be harvesting in the next week or 2 and i want to make some oil with my trim. But I have a few questions before i can do that.

1. Does your plant matter need to be dried first? Or cant you run your butane through it right after manicuring the bud.

2. What type of butane do you recommend? I heard that ronosol (sp?) is no good for this, and that seems t be the most common type I see.

3. As for the extraction device. Do you recomend galvanized steel piping, or pvc plastic? I am not gonna have a whole lot of trim, maybe a 1/4 - 1/2 oz. What Diameter pipe do you recomend. And how much butane is needed.

i would dry it first personally. Maybe you want to consider using iso to make it with rather than butane??? It might take a bit longer but it is much easiar and i've made some wicked oil this way.
