Watering every 3-4 days, once soil about 3 inches down is dry..

I looked at iron deficiency/mag deficiency pictures and it doesn't look like the plants in mine, mine the bottom leaves are like banana yellow.

Is there anything that you would suggest I try, besides buying more nutes? I am broke, is there a cheap solution?

I would bet it is a N deficency and way overwatering. If you got those tiny plants in 5 gallon buckets, you should not have to water for 1-2 weeks. Not 1 - 3 times a week. That is way too much. Let the roots get some air once in a while instead of constantly soaking them. Your yellow leaves might not recover but watch the new growth. Let it dry out and then water with your regular nute formula but don't water again till it completely dries out. You want to soak the soil with a good amount of nute water, then you want to let it dry right out before watering again. Hope this helps.

I split a gallon of water between 6 plants that are 15-18 inches tall every 3-4 days, that's still too much water?

in my experience with 5 gal buckets...if you have gooddrainage holes then 2 quarts per plant is optimum every 4 days

i think that if you had a way to test teh concentration of buildup in the soil that'd be ideal, but for the time being why not do a 1/2 the normal dosage, keep strict watering schedule and 18-6 lighting. let them veg for a while and get them back up to standard. Also, when you flush, you flush to get rid of salts but then add a mild nutrient dose to replenish the total loss of everything. this is more from the medical cannabis bible by jorge cervantas than from me
