Realised it is much more economical to run 600w 12/12 rather than 18/6 20/4 or 24/0
12-12 from seed also means I can grow any strain I like and not limited to autos only.

Not knocking autos just makes more sense for my circumstances. If I had a dedicated veg room I'd probably still run some, but don't.

Hello to all autoflower growers! I started my first grow 3weeks ago & it is Nirvana Short Riders!! Im growing outdoors
Ive been studying lots and lots about cannabis cultivation indoors & outdoors & especially autoflowering strains due my inability to grow cannabis indoors (people living in the same house with me..) so i decided to grow outdoors! ive been reading this thread for like 2-3days now and im already at page 80/781 so couple weeks and ive probably read the whole thread!! ( Im that kind of a person who really likes to know everything about something that im doing, kind of a perfectionist )

ANYWAY im hoping to get some good advice from knowledged & experienced autoflower growers !! best advice would come from someone who has grown autoflowers outdoors or even the strain that im growing and tell me more about it!!

Hey, delvite....I feel ya on the absence of auto action.I have a thread going more or less to just keep track of when seeds were started, sexe and harvested.It doesn't go into detail on my exact system but I am going to cover a feminized seed run with instructions on how to make colloidal silver and use it at home.

I grow Purple Jem, MI5 , Onyx and several strains I have developed myself.I am currently working on a super auto with a seed to harvest of 95-115 days.

These plants are getting 4 ft tall and producing an average of 3.5 ozs each.I had one that had 7.5 ozs on one 4ft plant.My thread is in my signature at the bottom.Please drop in. Peace.

All 14 plants were harvested.In total, I ended up with a 1/4 pound of bud after completely drying.It is curing now.It will continue to get better with each day of curing but it is ok to smoke now.

So with a little planning my 1st real crop of the summer came in.I was smoking the Purple Jem as I watched the 4th of July fireworks last night.

Plants were harvest at 9 weeks old.They could of went another week if not for the Midwest heat wave.With the heat I decided to take them early.Average weight per plant was 8 grams.

8 were grown in the ground and the other 6 were in 4 gal. thin,black, plastic nursery buckets.The buckets had Promix Bx in them, which has the water absorbing gel in it.I used simple Water soluble nutrients 10-15-10.

As long as they get rain every 5-10 days they will grow.And in June it usually rains here 2 times a week.I just set them 20ft. off the side of a dirt road in some fresh clear cut.

I have twenty 10 day old seedlings thay will go outside around the 1st week of August and there are 4 P. Jem plants in the field right now that are 5-6 weeks old and will be harvested the end of this month.So I should be able to pull 3-4 more grows with this cycle before Holloween.

you seem well versed in the AF world. Im starting my first auto flower grow,(with 60 day wonder in soil) and im looking for any advice. Mostly advice around nuts and mixes of them, any input anyone has would be great. I was thinking bio bizz? but i really don`t know.

Hi guys I have read some of this forum and there's alot of knowledge here. Can you guys give me some insight please, I'm starting my first grow, I'm thinking about going with auto seeds ultra lemon haze, I'm using a t5 4x8 , I'm using DWC 5 gallon buckets with 6" pods( I have 5 but am thinking about growing my legal limit of 12). My original intent was to use it for photoperiod mothers and teens but with some research Ive found the auto's and that they grow under t5. I have enough time for one harvest ( lease is up in 4 months, and I plan to go to photo once I move)
so with all of that being said, what strains should I grow, I'm still unsure on how many plants to grow or if the light can feed all of the plants. Do you guys know of better bulbs to put in to better there growth?
