OK so my wife and I sat down and picked every last seed we could find out of each bud off my little pregnant Diesel Ryders. This required some not so gentle man handling of the buds, and 1.5 hours of neck straining labor but yielded an AMAZING amount of seeds. I got so many I just had to hand count them. Keep in mind that one plant was 5.75 inches tall and one was 6.75 inches tall. And lets just say that my previous estimate of 50-100 seeds is now, well....laughable

Total seed count: 472!!!!

I have a feeling I will never have to do another seed run again as long as the majority of the little guys germinate. This does not include the probably 200+ immature seeds that were discarded, but only nice, round, brown beans. It was a lot of work getting them all out, but WELL worth the efforts.

After removing all seeds i weighed each plant's buds again and Carmen came in at 9g, Regina was 9.7g. I am more than pleased considering I had just bought a bag of some old, NASTY commercial junk, and now we have just under 3/4oz of some GREAT homegrown bud!!


- Two plants both under 7" tall
- 42w & 26w 2700K CFLs from seed to harvest
- Less than 5 total feedings, no bloom nutes
- 62 days total from seed to harvest
- 6 days to dry before canning
- 18.7g total bud after removing seeds
- 472 total seeds collected


My new diesel ryder girls should be much taller, fatter, and not to mention SEEDLESS!!! The smoke is so great, and will get better the longer I keep the bud in their jars. I plan to burp the jars every day for at least a week or 2, then they should be good to just cure away!! Ill make sure and report on the new Diesel Ryders from time to time, and especially when harvest time rolls around, which is in about 4 weeks

I've been thinking of breeding a few of my AK47's, I have 7 seeds left. As I can design and build e-commerce websites, was tempted to set up a site selling only AK47 seeds. After hearing you got that many, I'm even more tempted! It's perfectly legal to buy and sell seeds here the UK, just can't gemrinate them
I'll have to have a think on that one. Paying £35 / ten non fem seeds, that's a lot of potential profit to ignore.

Hey, I just had a thought. Any growers like you who can produce seeds can sell them through my potential website, maybe cover your own country making the site international. Have to enforce some strict regulation on quality etc, but not a bad idea. An internaltional seed bank supplied by RIU members.

Oh, by the way, I just smoked my first bit of Auto AK 'popcorn' bud, and wow, stunning smoke, nice sweet taste (even after drying for only 4 days!) and for some reason I can't stop chatting / typing ! lol

holy fuckin shit kolorblind, im definately going to impregnate a diesel ryder and a double diesel ryder. 470some seeds is just so freakin wild that would easily last a year, or five

took some snap shots of my 3 remaining white dwarf autos. I was going to plant all 5 outside. got 3 in the ground then it rained for about 2 weeks. slugs went to town i couldnt stop them. so i decided to wait on the other 2. then i decided not to at all and started adding more cfls to the area inside whhere i started the seeds.

so 1 plant in ground is still hangin on. i brought the 2 in pots outside to take the compairison shots.

i am really really new at taking pics of plants but i just figured why not show the difference between the girls. may get advice, who knows.

all 3 are same strain the 1 in the middle was actualy the pick of the litter( so much so i named her Lisa Leslie of theWNBA) till i threw her outta here. she didnt take it well, she need a miracle

Well I have never growl LR2s but the strain I am growing is Diesel Ryder which is LR2 crossed with NYCD and at 3.5 weeks all I had was probably a dozen white hairs per bud site. I have 2 female diesel ryders at the moment and they are 30 days old and just now starting to get some little buds. From 4 weeks to 8 weeks the bud growth should be pretty wild, and very noticeable. I took pictures of my first batch every week or 2 and compared them later, its phenomenal how much the buds grew in such a short time. However, mine were pregnant which made them fatter, but still the growth really takes off after 4-5 weeks on the buds.

I'm about to start a grow in about a month or so just trying to get everything straight before jumping head first. I've got everything down (did a lot of reading) and my setup will be a tent w/ 400w hps cooltube with vortex fan and filter for super stealth (except for the big tent sitting there) and i will be using a hempy bucket with just vermiculate and the seeds im getting is auto ak. The only problem i'm having is finding out what nutrients to use, also how to put them to use. I haven't found any kind of thread showing how to use nutrients. I'm new to growing but i have everything else down except for the nutrients. If anyone can help that would be great.
