Not sure, didn't have scales then. Needless to say, the topped plant yielded about 3/4 of the non topped plant.

I have 3 non-topped plants, 6 topped plants; however, the non-topped are slow starters and are stunted. I suppose I should have left at least one of the "main 6" untopped, but i dove right in and did all 6. My grow journal is in my sig and I'll have updated pics tonight.
So no, I don't have a great control so far, but that may change after sexing.

oh i also started giving them a bit of molasses... i had 5 gallons of water that tested about 6.5-7 ph from the fish tank... i added 5 tbsp to it and fed about 20oz each to the potted ones, a few oz to the untopped/stunted ones....

I cant wait to see how they turn out

yea, i hope they do great for u. i jus saw that pic reiss put up an almost screamed like a bitch. bein a sog grower i would be pissed if my harvest got cut down like that

tried topping lowryder2 ages ago.

Notice how thin she is at 52 days. here's the non topped plant (same age) -



Both grown from the same seed batch, same light, soil, nutes everything.

Not very scientific, but best I can do.

thanks for the demo. to bad it cut your weight, it looks cool that must be why the breeders say do not top them. i think i will let mine grow however god makes them

It looks like the topped plant stretched out alot more then the non-topped plant. Im going to start some under a light and see what results I can get after my currrent lowriders are done.

Looks beautiful!!! I have that growing right now. They are just about 3 weeks into veg. Sunday they go dark for 48 hrs and I start flowering.

An auto flowering plant flowers under any light cycle..
How are you vegging it and then flowering it by switching the cycles?
