What's up party people! I was wondering if I put my clon cuttings under a led light will they root. I'm looking for a cheap way to veg my plants before I throw them under the hps. Thanks in advanced

Why not use about 5 or 6 day light (5500k-6500k) CFL bulbs? will cost you about $14 then you throw those babies under your big boy lamp when your ready to flower.

I concur, I've actually seen some well documented results of using cfl's the entire way through on this site, and it's what I'm pursuing right now with my plant. The debate rages on as to yield results but you have an hps for flower so I wouldn't even worry about it. CFL's will work fine on seedlings and clones both, they don't eat much electricity and they don't produce much heat either.

The reason being is that I wanted the mother plant and cuttings under one light, that light being a 90watt ufo.
