What up all!

I am into my second grow. First one I had one female out of 11 plants.....wtf! This time I grew out 8 seeds and just chopped 5 males. I don't know if I should be happy to have close to 50/50 on this run, or pissed that out of 19 plants so far just 4 females. During seedling and veg stages plants looked great with no signs of any stress. Timer is working as it should. I guess on one of my next grows I might get more that 50% females (hope..hope).

Well the good news, the one female I grew out produced just over an oz and is fantastic. I was also able to keep a mother plant from her. Now I have 8 cuttings rooting that I know will be female. I enjoy having the variety that comes with seeds but so far the ratio is killing me...lol.

Ok time to chill and start thing positive again.

I've been getting mostly females on many grows and I'm sure it's from using 6500 K light when vegging. Here's a list of things you can do that MIGHT improve your odds.

that sucks... this grow im on i planted 36 seeds and got 3 males and 2 hermies... i feel bad about your luck bro... really... especially back to back... i'd suggest cloning the shit out of your female.... as many clones as you can get... then you wont have to worry about that problem anymore...

lol thats shitty, i have to say im doing pritty well in that aspect my last grow i had 2 out of 3 female, and now i was 1/1 so not bad, try some femenised seeds lol , maybe better luck will come,

thanks for the support guys.... yes I am cloning and plan on keeping several mothers. Trying to find a few strains to fall in love with. The only problem is that I am only allowed to grow 15 plants at one time (medical regulations) so it is going to take some time to find the right strains. My only mother right now is Chunky Cheese from Cannacopia ... outstanding plant, very heavy indica, strongest smoke I have ever tried. Almost too strong... yes I know it can never be too strong... just getting the dosage right...lol

Maybe I should blame my 6500K CFLs? I've been whining because I want a seed crop from my Mazar and so far out of ten plants 5 have shown their sex and they are all female.
