Hey, from what I read the optimal light cycle is 20/4

18/6 is recommended. Dont expect too much from em. 1 of mine ended up like a lollipop.

im not expecting much...So leave them under 18 hours of light...Does it really matter if it MH or HPS because it is a Lowryder...and it flowers under any light basicly?

The Joint Doctor{Lowryder 2's Breeder} says 18/6 and that you can drop to 16/8 after a month with no loss in yield. As far as lights, they will flower under either of those. You need to understand the differences between the two. MH will typically produce shorter. compact, bushier plants and is mainly used while plants are in their veg stage. HPS is better for flowering{Budding} plants. I suggest getting an HPS. It will work fine for the entire grow.
