nirvana-shop seeds blackjack

hey, my friend bought some blackjack seeds from nirvana-shop.com . he planted them and they seem to be growing tall as seedlings . he had to back-fill the container they were growing in a couple times because they kept growing up and up and up . my friend
wants to do a SOG grow with this strain
and wants to know what percent sativa it is. will it work or not ? it is blackjack (jock horror x black domino)

i just got them for my next grow....they are in dirt right now but plan to move them over to my hydro system shortly... have you started growing them yet?

I also have Blackjack from Nirvana, i want to hear some info about this strain, but i have looked all over the net and cant find anything about it....not sure why, because its such a promising strain and very beautiful too...My blackjack plants are vegging right now and will be going into the flowering room in about a week or so...So far they have very fat leaves, very indica-ish...i have no stretching like your friend is dealing with...all of my Blackjacks are short and doing very well...i also have Sensi Seeds, Afghani#1, The Flying Dutchmans The Pure(skunk#1), a skunk variety called Purple Bud growing right beside my Blackjack plants, and the Afghanis are 100% indica, the blackjacks are growing just like them, no stretching at all, so you migt want to tell your friend to move the light closer to the plants... Fluorescent tubes are the best thing to start seedlings out with..they dont get to hot and the plants can grow right up to the tops of the lights, meaning no stretching at all...my plants are 5 inches tall with 5 or 6 internodes, its probably about a 1/4 of an inch between nodes...nice and tight....hope this helps, Im still looking for quality info on these blackjack plants, if anyone has ever grown this strain please let us know, alot of people are looking for good info on this promising strain.....Thanks, and happy growing...later...

Well during VEG my blackjacks were nice and short with very little node spacing, since i have put them in 12/12... they have stretched ALOT.....They look like the picture above...but im 3 weeks in 12/12 and i have alot of tricks on the big fan leaves, so it looks like they will be very potent....I have 4 or 5 different strains growing, and between the Blackjacks a nd Afghani#1 they both have trichs forming already.. both about the same........I have Skunk#1 growing beside them and they are the shortest plants in the grow room, but they were grown from clones, the rest of the strains were from seeds, that makes a difference.....tell me about your blackjacks, when they get some bigger flowers i will post some pics.....later fellas....

Here is my Black jack at flowering day 24, now they have been flowering for 32 days, very big dense buds and smells like lemon or a very citrus smell! Tricomes are every where! I am growing this BlackJack with a waterfarm and just CFL's. Check out my journal! I also have Jock horror growing in soil and I had Short Rider. But i had the abort on the Short Rider because it came out hermy then I had 4 others started and they came out all males. Nivana Shop said they would send me some more to replace them. I got a package that had been opened and a coin purse with no seeds.

I too have 5 fem blackjacks going,after 25 days of veg they are only 4 or 5" tall.But lots of nodes and bushy.How tall do these need to get before flowering?I was gonna flowering them at 28 days but not sure if they are too small still.After 11 weeks of flowering I don't want them to get over 2 1/2 feet caus of the space I have.Advice would be great.Indoor,soil,400w HPS,MH,foxfarm

they will never take 11 weeks to flower. i have grown this several times at it takes on average 7 weeks and the trichs get really cloudy by that time.

hi guys this is my first post on the RIU boards and was looking into getting some of nirvanas blackjack beans...
anyone fully grown them out yet? do they get that pretty purple color like in their pics? how was the smoke, taste, yield etc.?
