Germnation

Hello all, I am new to growing and have done a bit of research. So far my grow room is about 8 foot high and 5 foot by 5 foot.. I have coverd everything in mylar. I will be using 200 hps lights i have fans. I plan on growing only 3 to 4 plants. I have my seeds germinating now. Its day 2 since they have been in between wet paper towels. So far the seeds have cracked and a very small tiny root is showing.. My question is how long do I need to let them germnate when would they be best to plant. and how deep to plant the seed. I am also using lambert potting mix is that any good?

I wouldn't let em root out too much in paper towel.I did mine like that and before I knew it they were all tangled up in the paper.Also growing em that way ain't very good since u have to handle em too much.I'd stick em in some soil asap and cover em lightly.Just make sure u only have one plant per pot,I made that mistake also.Almost lost my whole crop cuz they got tangled.

yeah but I thought its best to grow after they are germinated. I only ask because I tried to grow 3 plants and could not get them to sprout. I think itmight of been because I planted them to deep or used the root stimulator when it was just a seedling.

I don't know anything about the root stimulator.How much soil did u put over em?U can sprout em in a paper towel but as soon as u see anything coming out I'd put em under soil but not too much.Just enough to cover em...say like half an inch or something.

ok i just planted them about as deep as my fist knuckle on my finger hope all goes well and 3 months im sitting on a lb

Well good luck...the reason u don't wanna go too deep is so that the light penetrates a lil through the soil and promotes growth.Won't take long for em to push their way through.After that jus keep burying em a lil deeper.keep the first leaf bout a half inch above the soil and u should be set.
