Portable A/C Question

Hello RIU Community,
I am considering purchasing a portable air conditioning unit for my flowering room and was wondering about the humidity factors in using it. It has digital controls to keep the temperature at a constant and it says it keeps things cool by removing vapor from the air. So what would a portable A/C do to the humidity levels? Would the humidity be too low? Too high? Anyone with some experience or even basic knowledge would be much appreciated.
Thanks

My portable ac unit takes about 4 gallons of water out of the air per day.
It drops the humidity, good if you live in a humid place.

Skibaba,
Thanks for the quick response. But the unit I'm looking at does not require emptying a tank. It connects to a window via ducting. But what is your humidity level when it's running?
