K so i have 5 days til they do a fire inspection on our whole building and i have two plants in my closet one is 46 inches tall and the other is just recently cloned. Any ideas how to hide it?

mabey a big old refrigerator box can hold em or move em for a few hours?

i rent and one is about 46 inches tall 30 inches wide and the clone is no problem to hide.. would it be okay to put it in a garbage bag and lay it on its side under my bed?? does anyone have more ideas?? Cause i can use as much input an possible

Please dont bag it and put it under your bed.


Go to Uhaul, if they have one near you, or anywhere that sells good cardboard boxes. Put it in the cardboard box about 4-5 hours before the inspection, tape up all the cracks in the box, put the box in the corner in your bedroom, maybe throw a sweater or some crap on it to make it look like its been sitting there for a while.


If its just a fire inspection, Chances are there will be a 3rd party company and they will come in for about 30 seconds, test your fire alarm, and leave. I really wouldnt be too worried bro, I've had to deal with worse shit with many more plants.


Is there a fire alarm/heat detector in your front hall by the front door? If so chances are they will just come in the doorway, use a stick with a heating thing to set it off, if it works they leave, if its broken, they replace it which takes about 2 minutes...then leave.

im not going to destroy my plants and the thing im worried about is the fact that the managers kids live right above me and they have complained about the smell of marijuana because everyone who lives with me smokes it on the balcony. And im liking you box idea cause i have a U-haul about 4 blocks away from me so i think that will work. Thanks bro

maybe put it in your wardrobe for a few hours ?
bathroom cuboard ?
in the bath with the shower curtain over it ?
under the sink ?

to be honnest i think your geting worked up over nothing do what you see as fit

i wouldnt go nuts, but at the same time u dont wanna get caught.
listen to theses guys, check where your alarms are, as well as fire escape if you in buiilding? they may wanna check that, if your building requires window bars, make sure there all good, the faster theses dudes get outta your house the better.
2nd, as long as theres no smell, and no paraphanalia lying around. if the guy looks like hes snooping tell him 2 mind his business, show him the door and tell him to keep it moving.(then box ur boys n bring them 2 a friends house bc hes probly gonna call a cop if its suspicious).
